Qiu Lei, a lecturer from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering who came to the school from a well-known industrial group, aimed at the "stuck neck" problem of cellulose binder manufacturing for lithium batteries for new energy vehicles, and established Green Energy Cellulose Materials (Chongqing) Technology Co., LTD. in 2021, realizing the domestic substitution of imports of high-end field products, and realizing the mass production and mass production of lithium supplementation water-based cellulose binder products for the first time, and continuously cultivating in the field of new material application research and development.

While running enterprises and doing market, Qiu Lei knows that the core of the integration and development of production, education and research in colleges and universities is to educate people. "In order to make up for the shortcomings of students' application practice, the school requires relevant science and engineering students to enter the computer and enter the factory in the second year of undergraduate, and I also put more master's training on the factory floor."
